    Hello,

    I have been trying to make an animation of my player which is basically a 'Ball'. The animation I am trying to make is like the one color switch ball has, 2 to 3 smaller balls lower in opacity comes out of the player when it moves, with a fading out effect.

    Can Anyone tell me how to do this?

    Thanks!

    have you tried going into the default animation of your character and dragging in a tail and tweaking the settings?

    Start Watching at 31:03 Shows you how he made a Tail for his Cat. That is animated via using TRAIL option. :)

    @FrankNagy

    Thanks for the response, however I do know how to use the trail effect just can't seem to find a way to project smaller lower opacity parts of the player eg a ball when it moves.??

    Thanks for the replies guys.. However I found a solution, add a emitter effect to the player and then add the player image as texture and tweak the settings!

    Tail effect is not taking care of opacity, that is you need to do in a graphics editor. Just create a sprite that looks similar to the tail on that pic with less and less opacity and use that for the tail effect.

    Or use particle effects, that can fade particles out in a smooth way.
