Here are just three screenshots of my game Knighttime Stories. its going to me a metroidvania/platformer style game that takes place within levels designed to be nightmares as you fight the bad dreams to save Slumber World (not official name). even though its just a couple images, id appreciate any feedback on the look as all the assets used are owned solely by me and created just for this game. will have more to show eventualy and video at some point. thanks hope you like it.
I love it! Looks very charming for kids and forever young adults. I'd love to see it animated to see if it moves like I imagine.
Sweet my kids found the pictures already great when it comes out? My children are the best games tester my daughter is always excited with my game to new levels to test it
I love the branches on the tree ending in squares that first pic, the dark bricks and the grey bricks... being the exact same graphic just different color looks weird to me... maybe try to figure a way to make the background just different enough to contrast...
No. Less contrast which makes it difficult to see what is platform and what not. Also, I would make the tile seamless so you won't see when it starts and when not.
A darker background is better in my opinion. Yes. Tile look not sure. Would need to see it darker. You could even try to make it blurry to fake distance. Just an idea though not sure if it would work. And... seamless. But it seems they actually are now that I take a closer look. But you do not set them up correctly in BB? You see the dark line that separate yours?
