Copy main character properties to newly added character? BB2.0

Can I copy main character properties(movement,animation etc.) to the new added character? Using bb2.0 btw

if yes pls tell me how. thanks!

 

Select your character and hit D, this will duplicate your character

 

@heathclose Thanks so much for that, it was so simple yet it's been a real pain in the backside to manually adjust all character properties one by one, appreciate the shortcut share

This methode gave me bugs. After a short time the properties of the duplicated character where still there but stopped working... Every character I duplicated had the same problems. They disappeared when I switched characters in the game.

 

I agree - same here. All looks great but nothing is working - only the main character works

 

We have used this duplication method and have not had an issue to my knowledge. Please send non-working BBDOCs to support@buildbox.com so we can fix the issues for everyone.

 

@Andy This has also happened to me. Using Version 2.2.1

 

Well I have been talking to Sean from support for a long time and he is great but there is no solution for that and it's in the works. if you have another solution (quicker) @Andy that would be awesome

 

@Andy i have sent a non-working BBDOC to Sean. The 2nd character was duplicated. The game crashes if you hit the preview button. In my other try duplicating worked for a little while till suddenly the duplicated characters disappeared.
