Hi, My game project file size is 18 mb, when I make a Android APK it is 20.8 mb, when I make a iOS build, on iTunes Connect it shows 93 mb. My game has been ported to BB2, and since then it takes 15 seconds to load on an iPhone 6, I contacted BB support for help and they asked me to convert objects to global clones, I did that and also halved all the main objects in the game, but it seems to have made a very small difference. Can someone please help with how to reduce loading time and keep the size low. I see some really tiny and quick loading BB games, the 15 seconds loading really is bad and makes the game feel heavy, I would really appreciate any help. P.S : Iam using thousands of objects in the game. that is why BB support suggested I use convert to Global Clones. Thanks.
And your atlas number? Did you use 1:1 images, so, if you need an object 140x20 you imported a 140x20 image and not something bigger that you scaled down? Then you removed ... (Every option in that menu)? Along with the cloning and what not? How big are your mp3s? How big is the bbdoc before export? The atlases answer particularly interests me...
@heathclose I used everything in the remove section. My MP3 is 15 mins and 10.5 mb. BBdoc before I export is 18mb I have 2 atlasses, 1 has all the game stuff, and the other one is practically empty, it has the publisher logo page. The thing is i am using far too many objects in the game, like overall 5000 objects in the game.
Its easy to fix your problem. You just need to make sure the mp3 quality is low. That will make a huge difference. If you want, I can lower the quality and size for you.
