hello, I just published a game in android, its called 'IMPOSSIBLE Chinese Spikes' I have trouble with the ads frequency, I have set the frequency of interstitial ads to 4 in the game over screen and 0 in all others with banner ads as 1 in all the screens. but when I open the game there are always interstitial ads which keeps popping up at a disturbing rate like 1 ad per 2 seconds while I am playing the game. why is this happening? because of this I am forced to set frequency capping in admob to 2 per 30 min. how to set it right I want an interstitial ad to occur once every 4 times the player gets out. I am using admob and chartboost
The frequency is set directly in Buildbox. Select a menu (for example game over) and on the right side, where you would put the music and what ad network you want, there you put Ad Interstitial Freq or Ad Banner Freq. Put your number 4 there and you will be good to go.
Did you try to change the interstitials to Chartboost? Just to check if it is AdMob that is making a mess or not. If it doesn't change a thing, send an example file to support. It should work correctly the way you set it up.
