How to make the gameplay setting like this game

    WHat is the gameplay settings on the game at 0.02-0.06 seconds in the middle of the screen in this vid?

    Game Direction -90
    Button Jump.

    thank you so much!....this engine is so simple that when it gets slightly complex I lose all brains lol!

    quick follow up question. how can you get the object (character) to jump through a platform then land on the same platform a few seconds later?

    If you mean "go through" the platform one side and land on it from the other, then yes, you'd use a 1 way collision setting and point the arrow in the direction your character is "allowed to go through"

    Which you will find by editing the collision box. Select your object in the list of objects on the left. Once selected, you will see in the upper right an edit button, which will bring up the collision window. In the upper left of this window is a pull down menu for polygon or circle type hit boxes, and just to the right of that you will see an "arrow circle thingy"... Click that, this is the directional collision editor

    How do you get the game t slow down whenever you jump?

    but jump isn't a gameplay action so do I need ot hide a transformer or something>

    anyone knows what Gameplay settings was used for Phases? Can't seem to figure it out.
