Hey congrats @Machine Rises You really hit the jackpot and went all the way to the number 1 app! Thanks for sharing all of your thoughts on how you achieved success. Glad to see your positive outlook on life and developing games has really paid off for you. Very inspirational for the rest of us.
I really like how you discuss trials before you had success. It is an amazing analogy explained. Your sacrifice and perseverance was worth it. Congratulations!
Do you recommend that a game creator who's starting out uploads to a publisher instead of trying to market it themselves?
I actually downloaded and played through some of Color Switch for the first time today. Fun game! You and your team have definitely helped turn this game into the next flappy phenomenon for the past month or so. I consider color switch to be better in many ways than flappy bird games. I have learned a lot about game update strategies and marketing strategies from watching the color switch movement happen. Thanks for sharing your encouragement with everyone
I recommend you get good at game design and launch apps yourself before you try to approach a publisher. You can ask for feedback from others to get a good idea of how your game design is at the moment.
the marketing on the game by the publisher is amazing. like "regular" people play the game and recorded - go to their FB page and see https://www.facebook.com/fortafygames

Should be a longer segment airing tonight EDIT: Bigger news happened so short segment for both airings. Oh well you win some you lose some
I can't remember you mentioned you were color blind. This makes it even a greater success. And don't bother about the news, they will always go for the bigger sensation. lol. Didn't you mention you were traveling with a laptop? Already back home? Or where are you right now? Since you mentioned that in a post I always imagine you in front of some beautiful beach with a PiƱa Colada and your laptop. That for sure would be my dream.
