Hi Friends i have 3 world so far planning on making 100 worlds my game is progression game similar to color bump. meaning I collect points for hitting Friendly's and die and restart for hitting enemies. I cross a finish line my UI prompts a restart or continue which links to my new world. questions 1. is it better to build scenes vs worlds for a progression type game? 2. If using worlds how can i have progression saved. say a user hits world 10, puts his phome away comes back later at night, he starts back on world 10 with all his world points saved. 3. if u using scenes same thing as # 4. can i start scene one on x, y and z @ 1 and start scene two the same position?
Sounds like an awesome idea! I would recommend using scenes as the size would be much smaller compared to worlds. if you used worlds, you could create global counter and each would adds a points than you could set it up to only go to the world that matches the global counter. for scenes, you could use checkpoints, or once again you could use a global counter.
Ok i think Ill stick with scenes and checkpoints. question with scenes real quick. 1. Can I change the background and plane color for each scene? 2. Scene one starts at X 0, Y 1, Z 0. can scene two start at X 0, Y1, Z 0? 3. are the start and end lines for scenes only? thank you so much for your insight it really helps!
