1. Can i display the characters remaining lives. 2.Can i reward an extra life for collecting a certain amount of coins?
1) just brainstorming untested here, but what about using a UI that says 3 lives, but if you die, you are taken to a game over screen that has the retry button linked to a UI that now says 2 lives... and repeat for 1 life..., with all three different game over screens that all include a main menu button and whatever else you like in your game over UIs.... 2) again... brainstorming untested here.... what about an event observer that could seamlessly jumps you to the appropriate UI of lives showing...all connected to that same world? I might be lost in my own head now...
