I have a 3D platformer in 2D mode. My character is visible through foreground objects as he passes behind them?
Use the layers. The object that is closer to the top of the hierarchy will be closer to the camera. So place them accordingly.
Thanks for the input. I've done that. It is correct in the scene editor, but the character is still visible in front, in the gameplay?
Here are three screen shots. In ONE, you see the stack, in TWO you see the scene editor and the character can move behind the foreground object. In THREE you see the gameplay and the character is now in front of the foreground object?
To adjust depth in a 3D world while in 2D, you'll have to select the 'Multitool' and move the depth handle. Please see attachment.
I did that. If you look at the second attachment, the character is behind the foreground object but if I test the game, the character shows through?
