Causes for BB2 Crashes

Multi world option causes an immediate crash. I'm opening the champagne though. I just had my first BB2 crash haha

 

Same issue here . Windows pc by the way.

Yes I gave the Multi world on PC a go, crashed as well !

 

guys, it's working for me on windows as well... please give me exact settings you are using. Screenshot is gold.

I have the same settings as @wayne_martell , I've narrowed it down to only crashing when you switch it to "next world" instead of "endless" under world end action.

 

This is what I get.

 

I'm on mac. Only setting I changed was the multiworld select. Crashed when I was in the multiworld editor. I clicked on start menu and crashed. Sent in report.

 

On mac, I played the demo platformer game. It all works great, but when I double-click on the "start" mind-map piece, BB crashes.

Ah, got it... Something we realized today, presets are somewhat incompatible with some of the other options. We're working on what we can do there to improve it. For now if you want to check out the presets, just select presets without changing any other options, especially the multiple world options.

 

I go to the Game Field and I put my character in and I try too test the game out and all I see is black on the screen :O

 

I also crashed on an attempt at multi-world. Only changed to multi-world and set number of worlds to 5, then added game over, pause, and coin shop.

Though just saw @Andy response about the presets, which is what I did.

 

I tried running in windows 8 mode same thing, if that helps any!

 

Yes you're right put it in endless and it didn't crash !

 

Got a crash even before the game setting loaded and no crash report. If I recall I picked: avoidance, end scene, multi world, portrait, pause screen, info screen, and maybe a few other options. When I hit "create" this is when it crashed.

Also when getting the prompt for loading a previous session and clicking "yes" it crashed on me. Again no crash report.

 

@Machine Rises what did you choose as your world end action on that same screen?

 

I assume the cause of crashes for the converted BB1.x docs are the Game Mind Map compatibility. Recheck your Mind maps upon conversion. Might need a little fixing.

 

Crashing on Create New with multi worlds as well.
