So I finally got my first Buildbox-game up and running. So far only on iOS, but the Android-version should be ready as soon as I can get my head around some ad-integration stuff, as well as being able to upload the APK without error messages... https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/grind-city/id1445046201?l=nb&mt=8 Grind City is an endless runner where the object is go as far as possible while jumping (tap to jump, double tap to jump higher) over stuff in the street, as well as collect energy drinks that can be used to unlock a couple of other characters that does slightly different "tricks" than the default one. All feedback would be appreciated
Congratulation on your first game. The graphics you choose gives a natural feel of a city.I like the way you made the game and it has a potential. You could work on the UI elements. And regarding game play could improve more because i quiet din't like the idea of jumpion over cars. But obstacles like tire steps is fine. You may add coins in the middle of the road and the skater collects it and would evade when a vehicles comes in that direction and also switch lanes.Just my suggestion So a great start.
Hoping ads will start to show up on the Android-version soon, anyways here it is (for those who`d like to give it a go): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joyrideapps.grindcity
Nice looking and sounding game https://www.facebook.com/plugins/po...k.com/MACsBGR/posts/346807942572595&width=500
Thanks for the nice review, glad you liked the game I just wanted to mention though that the characters have a few differences (other than the colors). The second and third skater jump a little bit higher than the default one, and they also do different tricks than the default one. Same when they grind down the rails, one does a "smith grind" and one does a "tail slide". So not huge differences between the three, but not only colors
Hi, most of the graphics are purchased from graphicriver and Unity asset store. The skater(s) and some obstacles are done by a skilled freelancer called Anton P.
