I think what Hue is requesting is that the pivot point of the viewport camera temporarily change to the center of the selected object so you can easily rotate the view and see that selected object from different angles. It’s a common feature in 3d modeling apps.

I want to be able to adjust view distance. You sort of can, but I want to be able to see FAR ahead, like 10 to 15 scenes away. Right now it only goes from like minimal few feet in front of character to max about 1 to 2 scenes ahead. I know this would affect performance but it would be nice if we had the option.

Oh, and the ability to export and import nodes we create or have been created by others. Lol
Maybe right click a nide, export to .bbndoc or something. Then others can right click and select import node, select their .bbndoc and bam...there it is.

I think they already talked about the ability to export import nodes many times.
Very exited to get my hand in bb3 it took a lot of time I hope the beta can make a decent games and the important thing need to be easy to use.

Hi, Why for MC2 owners only this? When will we (paying customers) have a working BB3 Alpha? Thank you!

@Buildbox I have being trying to upgrade my alpha version from 2 to 3 but can't get hold of support. I realise you guys are busy with BB3 beta which is fantastic but please can someone send me the download links for alpha 3. I emailed support on Monday but haven't heard anything back. Realise you are super busy though.

I don't think BB users are allowed to forward that link.
It would have to come from support.

Check your SPAM folder, it happened to me.
With the Alpha 3 version, they should provide some manual, there are new options that we have to investigate.
I hope that the final version is late, I do not want to see how it takes 2 or 3 versions, to resolve bugs.
It was also said that in the Final version, there would be some surprise.
I'm looking forward to the final version, but I also want it to be a very stable version.

We're a long ways away from the final version. Beta will take months.

One thing I will say you never put 2D guys in charge of 3D navigation. Forget how you did it in 2D have a look at something like maya and follow an industry standard style of navigation and zooming, even multiple view ports would be a huge help to build things quicker. Importing assets is another big one, FBX animation should have been in this from the start and there's plenty of code and libraries out there to adapt to BB3. What you guys are doing in incredibly hard and I get that, but get the simple things right at the start and you will start pulling even the unity guys over. Opening up the scripting big thumbs up here, it really brings functionality to the program and makes it possible to do anything. I'm sure I will get shot down here, but we all have a right to put our 2c worth, so keep up the great work guys !
