Buildbox 2.3 Is Here!

    Does anyone know what Heyzap SDK version 2.3.0 uses?
    I read in the forums (in @Christoph's very handy tutorials) that 2.2.8 uses version 10 but 2.2.9 went back to the stable version 9.
    So what SDK version does BB 2.3.0 use?

    SDK 9, we will only be using SDK 9 going forward for the foreseeable future. It's what HZ recommends as well.

    If you still want to test the game only using Eclipse you can use Amazon export, if you really want to. But we will not be supporting Eclipse at all going forward. I just gave that as an option that is there now... but will disappear soon. I suggest moving your workflow to Android Studio, as that is the future.

    Do you have API 26 fully installed? Did you make ANY changes to the project after export?

    Ok now it works!

    The problem was, everytime when i import the project. Android Studio asked always for updating the Grandle plugin. And i always clicked YES update.
    And than i tried without update- it works

    Try removing API 27 or getting it to a "fully installed" state. Or delete Android Studio/Android SDK and start over from the beginning with a fresh install.

    Sorry Update is not the problem!:D
    Although it is a strange coincidence that it worked with not update it but the error was actually from this:

    I did not choose both signature (V1 +V2) I thought that's either or o_O

    When i choose V1 + V2 everything works fine!

    Was having problems as well. Fresh install of Android Studio cleared everything up. Follow tutorial Andy provided.

    This is blood bath with bugs..
    I wish they had spent more time correcting bugsbox bugs instead of creating even more software with a lot of bugs... money and time wasted, i feel very sad and desperate!. Now iam without job and house. Thank you. Iam off

    copy and pasting scenes destroys portals in pasted scenes.

    Just installed the release version of 2.3.
    I found that Paths can not attract Characters unless "Forced Movement" is unticked, where as it can in 2.2.8 and 2.2.9.
    Also, a Character can not move/you see unexpected physics if your Character is on top/inside of an Objects collision shape, even if the Object is set to "No Collide", which is my case means the Objects collision box had to be moved so the Character did not meet it in the scene...

    An option to turn off having Collision shape all together would be a nice feature. Especially for Ghost Jump. @Andy
