I updated Xcode to 9.0 and now there is an issue when I upload a game to iTunesConnect: "Dear developer, We have discovered one or more issues with your recent delivery for "Baby games for girls.". To process your delivery, the following issues must be corrected: Missing Info.plist value - A value for the Info.plist key CFBundleIconName is missing in the bundle 'ru.Kidapp.plane'. Apps that provide icons in the asset catalog must also provide this Info.plist key. For more information see http://help.apple.com/xcode/mac/current/#/dev10510b1f7. Once these issues have been corrected, you can then redeliver the corrected binary. Regards, The App Store team " How can I fix this? Need help from @Andy or other smart guys =))
Don't use Xcode 9, keep using Xcode 8. We have not officially announced support for Xcode 9. That will come around the new year.
Thank you, Andy. I actually fixed that: 1) I clicked once here to migrate images https://image.prntscr.com/image/VBsE2ht5QqO_zFmYKgDDbw.png 2) I manually created and uploaded all icons here https://image.prntscr.com/image/PRPeA_e2TLCJDrTnxYv7dQ.png
Hi Andy, Is Xcode 9 still not supported? Since upgrading to ios 11, it tells me that Xcode 8 can't use my phone for testing.... Thanks!
i have update to xcode 9, run's without problems! I had to restart the iphone two times, but then the app was installed normally and it all worked normally
Hi, Andy! Nevertheless, may you please provide a workaround for Xcode 9? I am absolutely sure that it is possible to resolve the issue. Thank you in forward!
I just came across this issue too, but as stated above, BB hasn't announced Support for xCode 9 yet. But @Christoph kindly posted in another thread, if you have upgraded to iOS 11, you can still go back to using xCode 8+ and testing on iOS 11 using the following method: I just did it and it works fine. I tested on my iPhone 7+ running iOS 11 and have uploaded to App Store from Xcode 8.3
Thanks for all the advice, and thanks to @Christoph for the workaround. I tested it on my phone with 9, but sure enough, it 'acted' like it was building and sending to Apple, but it wouldn't go out of processing. Used 8.3 to upload with no issues. Awaiting review, aka always the longest days of my life.
Guys, so if you updated to iOS 11 and Xcode 9, then you could pass the processing. All you need to do is to add some extra icon images with proper sizes. As I posted above, there are 2 steps to fix it: 1) I clicked once here to migrate images https://image.prntscr.com/image/VBsE2ht5QqO_zFmYKgDDbw.png 2) I manually created and uploaded all icons here https://image.prntscr.com/image/PRPeA_e2TLCJDrTnxYv7dQ.png
Hey KidApp, Added the AppIcon and Launch Image although I have no idea what sizes are supposed to go where... Where it says, 20pt, 29pt, 60pt, for iphone spotlight, app, settings... How did you know what size goes where? Also did you have any images on your LaunchImage??? Thanks,
So you need to fill in all missed icons so it will be like that to find out the proper size do this take your 20pt multiply for 2 = 40pt So your icon should have 40x40 px dimentions. For the next icon which is 3x you should use 60x60 px: because 20x3=60 px I hope you could figure out with the rest. Best, KidApp
Awesome, your screen shots are super helpful. I guess some of the images even though the right size look smaller in thumbnail... I'll go back and see what's up! I wanted to Add this link incase anyone wants to just remove Xcode 9 and go back to Xcode 8. https://developer.apple.com/download/more/
This is old info. Just use Buildbox 2.3.x and Xcode 9, all is good. No need to even think about this. In about 1 month Apple will require Xcode 9 for new games anyway.
