I can't seem to get my character to move with a joystick. I've placed the joystick within the menu ui but nothing happens during gameplay. Character max speed is set to 40 40. Any ideas? Thanks!

I appreciate your response. I have spent quite a few hours searching and been through all the tutorials - that is why I finally resorted to the forum. I'll figure out where the disconnect is at some point.
not sure why it doesnt work, try one of the default templates , try the avoidance one, and see how its set up, and compare it with yours and see whats going on
