I am making an endless runner game with a human character, the character has to jump over many obstacles and i have a few pickups such as coins, speed boost and invincibility. I would like the invincibility pickup to make the character float with a small cloud under their feet so the cannot be defeated for a few seconds. Is this possible to achieve in buildbox or should i look at an alternative?
    Thank in advance.

Couldn't you just use the Action animation to replace the character's animation with one in which it floats on a cloud? Am I missing something?

Would that move them up the screen?

Plus there are multiple characters in the game, wouldn't the action animation only work with on of the characters

Do you need to move him up the screen?
Wouldn't he just pass through objects or something?

You could just move the image upwards in the animation editor.

Hmmm... yeah... I think so. I for one don't know how to treat the multi-character scenario.

Thats the issue, i think i may just go with the original idea of what you mentioned before. Thats what i had but just wondered if it was possible to move up the screen to give a floating effect. Thanks for the help.

    You're welcome!
Sorry I don't have another solution.
    Maybe someone else could help.
