Idea: Tools: admob: house ad campaigns Duration: 10 days I need developers (Maximum 10) with a game between 20,000 and 30,000 effective installations. We can promote our game through internal advertising with admob (house ad campaigns How can we do it ? Easy: We can promote 10 games in 10 days: 1 game each day Campaign duration: 1 full day We just have to pass the link to the game we want to promote. Example: (We assume that we are 5 developers) All developers give us their game link to promote! We create 10 campaigs: One every day: Monday: for developer1 Tuesday: for developer2 Wednesday: for developer3 etc ... When the campaigns are ready, we start them. After campaign we have to send a screenshot of the campaign statistics... That's the initial idea, are you interested in ? ... do you sign up? All the best! Mauro
I think this is a great idea and similar to what I proposed with Indie Plexus (search for it). You want to look for a high value of DAU instead of installs though. Also, 20-30k is a lot of installs for most of us. It might be close to impossible to get 10 of us.
I think this idea was floating about sometime last year but not sure if it ever worked out. Question is do we then need to submit an update or what?
When i was running my how to draw cars app [removed temporarily] at about 40,000 downloads, i was charging companies to advertise in my app. One co. paid me $200 for an entire month of ads. So i made up a splash full screen banner and put it AFTER the load screen when you launch app/game. It would show their co....with a button to SKIP, which lead to main menu. App alone was making me around $200 a month off admob ads. Slowed down to around $150 last month. but combining admob and charging co. to advertise in my stuff.....$$$$$
Effective installations is NOT active players, you can have 50000 downloads with 3000 active devices and only 300 active players . The idea i think is to try to promote between us somehow, to help each other , with some of you i change reviews, share games(twitter, reddit, facebook, toucharcade) , but some of you, expect to share their game, and they don't share it back, so is not right, but if we try to make somehow a list, i don't know , we should have s start, then we fix things while we run )
Yeah if my 40,000 downloads had more active users i would be making WAY more than $200 a month off it. What if we advertise each others games....in game. Splash screen or even Unlockable character thats from one of our other games that star in your game etc.
