Cross promotion is exactly what the word mean. You cross promote (A to B > B to A) between 2 or more apps that you have. Why would you do that? It's the cheapest way to acquire users. Now assume if app A have 10 existing users and app B have 10 users. You have the potential to get 20 players (All 10 from app B will play app A and vice versa) on each games.
