How I did something similar with my game Sky Clouds was you go from Start > Load World, and have a UI over the top. Instead of going Start > then loading a UI.

So it enables you to create better effects from your world. So basically your loading your world and it looks like your main menu UI. To stop the screen from moving/scrolling (if you want this, like I did with Sky Clouds) I removed the character from the world.

Im still learning BB so there might be a better way to stop the screen moving/scrolling. If fact my set up, the screen does move a tiny bit and then stop. Wasn't sure how to stop that, so I added a flash animation over the top. So by the time it finishes you couldn't see it moving. And I think in the end it worked well for the overall design too.

Actually a quick update, just now I realized I could just go into world settings and put Forced Movement to 0 and it will stop that slight movement lol
