    Hey Guys,

I am trying to setup a single shoot for the character. I have tried to place an object without spawned in the bullet animation, but that is keep shooting until button is down (plus it only shoots to the right, I could not make it shoot upwards)

I have also tried to create spawning object to the default and the shooting animations. I can control bullet direction there but even if I set the spawner as single shoot, it will keep shooting until button is down.

Is this a bug or I am doing something wrong?

I know what do you mean, i also see this.
If i add an `Bullet Animation`, how long i press the shoot button, it's shooting, doesn't have one single shoot .
If i add spawner obecjt happen the same, doesn't matter the spawner time .

It is not a bug the bullet should be inserted in the "shooting animation" not the "bullet animation"

Place an object in the shooting animation without a spawner and it will shoot once

Thanks for trying to help. Just checked it out, if I do that it will be a real single shooter -- you only can shoot once throughout the entire gameplay. What I wanted to do is a non-repetative shooter (aka semi-automatic gun, not to confused with the repeating shooter aka automatic gun...). So each time i "pull the trigger" (tap on the screen) it shoots only one single bullet, no matter how long I hold the button down. But if I release it and tap again, it shoots once more and every single time, no matter how fast I release the finger and tap again...

Btw I could achieve this in the meanwhile with Action Buttons, works like charm, I just feel this should be done by the Single Shooting Spawn Action instead (which right now does exactly the same as a Shooting Spawn Action)

I know that you know this @trudnai and also know you can make it via action (u helped me before :) ), but the following from the manual
Shooting Animation: The animation to run when
Character is shooting. PNG Drop Box, however clicking
on the pencil opens the Animation Editor.
Bullet Animation: The animation to show on the bullet
object that is spawned when the Character fires. PNG
Drop Box, however clicking on the pencil opens the
    Animation Editor.
Shooting: spawn when shoot button pressed.
Single Shooting: as above but approximately only a single “bullet” on screen at any one time.

So they know about it and this the best they can make it.
Also I've never seen a single shoot for each button press from BB via shooting animation. That's why I'm saying it is not a bug, maybe they make it intentionally like that, don't know.

Hello, I'm new here. I've tried everything that I can think of and I cannot make it work. Can somebody please explain how to do it with Action Buttons?

    Best Regards,
