Hey @Andy is there a way we can get the buildbox 2.2.5 version until this is fixed? Im releasing on thursday and I'm uploading the android version and the particle effect is a HUGE part of the experience.

close buildbox and re-open it. It'll work, if not try it again. Thats what worked for me.

    @Andy
I've reopen the AdvanceMove+Jump bug ticket then it has been closed automatically without response, I assume the complain has reached the support..
Just to let you know my game is ready to publish but I am stuck with this bug since 21 Sep

    Thank you

Is there an update where you guys didn't touch the particles and fix the damage animation? I've been trying every version from 2.2.2 to 2.2.7 (yes .7) and all of them have the particle or the damage issues or both)... This is really disappointing. Going back to 2.2.2 where particles worked perfectly BUT the damage animation was buggy...

And yes, I have contacted support.

    Feeling sad.

I talked to @theseanjonathanconnor in support and he is waiting for response... I assume we are all in different timezones. We'll need specific info and example from you, I can't really comment intelligently based on the info conveyed here. If every version you've tried has issues for you then let's focus on 2.2.7.

If you give me the ticket number I can verify that it's on the work list for this month (I believe it already is). All tickets are "closed" once we respond. We open separate issues internally to track the specific bugs.

is there any way that you can implement a grid system while the game is in play so that objects snap to its designated area for the next update

Did you check your collision shapes on the Advanced Move? This is usually the reason for these types of issues.

We are working on better snap to grid support while editing. But it won't be in the next release.

    Yes
Here is an example you can check too
Just touch the triangle and character will stop jumping

Note: It was working fine before on 2.1.1 and earlier

I believe this is woking as expected. The advance move component, when active, overrides any other movement. Did this work as you expect in any previous releases? I tried 2.2.1 and 2.1.1 and the same behavior exists.

That said, I will double check with the programmer today to see if there is something that we are doing wrong here.

BTW, I really appreciate the awesome example. :)

Yes it was working on 2.1.1 and earlier I will try to upload a video too
Also Note if you set the event onstart it will work on all versions, but if you set it on collision it will fail on any version after 2.1.1

I went all the way back to 2.0.1 and don't see where it is working like you say. Please verify... maybe the example file got saved in a later version?
