Your game has amazing graphic there is no doubt about that but the sad thing its not well designed if only you made for every stage a new gameplay that would break the routine in between stages and make it less boring also it has a lot of bugs as example you need to remove or check stick to edges in some places and the coin score you need to change its alignment from right to left also the distance based from zombies that come from door is so little it kill the character there is some money and zombies under the floor the player cant see and kill the character i think thats due to scene alignment etc... you have a lot to fix / sorry for my harsh words i didnt mean to it just i want to see this game to be great.
Not at all. The Coin UI was a strange one but more to do with the actual alignment when you reach over a certain amount of coins. The distance for some Zombies spawning was set like that to encourage you to purchase weapons with the idea that you 'lure' him out to kill and rush past - like in the video. The clipping with coins/objects was something that I thought I had fixed as I replaced every level I found it in - painstaking too as I labelled every single level to track down the problems - deleted them and replaced them. Clearly I missed some.
So played a little bit, haven't had much time, but yea i can't get past those zombies that come up from the bottom in the second stage. The graphics and sound FX are great, I understand that collecting enough coins and upgrading guns will help get past it, but do i have the patience to collect 500 coins, when i gain maybe 20 every time i try, But i can go through he first stage a few times to get enough coins maybe. i will give that a go. I can't wait to see more of the game. But I'm stuck there. LOL
So just found what @wesam_badr was talking about, some scenes where they join, the zombies and coins are at different heights, you can't collect the coins or kill the zombies so your pretty much stuck. Thats in the city limits stage, a bit after the first checkpoint. And the zombies look weird coming half way through the foot path. I will try and get a screen shot for you.
Cool thanks. I've played through again but haven't found any new problems like that. I know it was an issue during the beta testing. I am really out of ideas what could be causing it. Also, there is a secret level where you can pick up a ton of coins. A clue is at the start of that level.
I think it might be where 2 scenes over lap, not 100% sure, Do any of your path graphics go past the end of the scene or start of a scene? But the coins and zombies are behind the path. Then there a some zombies that are to low to shoot but kill you. They come from both directions so you have no chance.
I am taking a look now and just redoing the levels from the checkpoint. Everything is layered as it should be, which makes it even more strange. I will also drop down a few more power ups. There's 4 around the path from the start to the checkpoint but random spawns to help you get through and I will probably reduce the cost of the weapons too. lol.
I *think* I have found the problem. I have a ground collision that isn't wasn't long enough to overlap some levels, so the Zombies are passing under the scene. And it also looks like this is creating the overlapping with the coins too when the next scene appears.
I finally got round to playing it, great fun! I would also agree with wesam, game needs a little more spice Production wise I think you really nailed it Ran into one glitch were the music just suddenly stopped playing after I died, I had to go into options and turn music on and off to get it working again.
