@Gregory Storm , I haven't started looking for a publisher yet. I'm hoping to have enough of the game ready in the next 3-4 weeks to start looking around.

@Yusif_Jasim No release date yet. I'm trying to have the game finished by late August but no official date yet. I'll keep you posted.

@alan_caleb Wow, awesome game with wonderful graphics.
Have you done the artwork yourself?
What's the software you used to make the graphics?

@Ishamahes Thanks, yes I did the graphics myself using a combination of Maya, Zbrush and Photoshop. More info about the graphics and game in general can be found on my development blog www.darethemonkey.com

Hi @eyal, the percentage completion is achieved by doing the following. Add a Label to your game over UI and set its function to 'Score' then set the score type to 'distance'. Next click on your game world from the mind map screen and change the score multiplier number using trial and error until the game over screen returns a value of 100 just as your player completes the level. Place an enemy right at the end of your level that will kill you as you experiment with your score multiplier. If the enemy kills you right at the end of the level and returns a value of 100 percent then you have the multiplier set correctly and you can now delete the enemy.

The important thing to understand is that the game is really just showing a distance score. The percentage is just a text label that is added in the UI. If the player were to some how continue beyond the finish line and then get killed, the game would return a value greater than 100.

Let me know if this makes sense and if not I'll try to post some images or a video.

well thank you for that. I tell you what I did. I put along the way opacity 0 actions that were set to points (10) and then in the UI I put an even observer of 100 so when the user get's to the end of the level he hits the unseen action and the level is presented with 100% but if he fails along the way then it will present the sum of the actions.

What I don't understand with your solution is how to set the distance to be the same in all of the levels where some of my levels are 7000 pix and some 6000 for example.
