Thanks Andy! Question-- should I wait until BB 2.0 drops? I don't want to start building the game in the current build, only to have to start from scratch again.
Usually I tell people not to wait. Really it depends on how soon you want to start and how long before you want to release. If you wait it's likely to be a month (give or take a bit) before you can really start.
Thanks for the advise Andy! I will probably build out all the assets, then build from scratch in BB 2.0
No idea how it will work in BB2 but in version 1 there seems to be a memory problem with too much animations running at the same time. At least with older devices. Buildbox games are very graphic heavy since graphical elements can't be manipulated with values. For example if you have a scene that needs to change from day to night, you have to do this with animations. No way to change it over time with hue or saturation. It probably is best to keep this in mind and seek a game with not too much animations. It looks fantastic though and can't wait to see some real game insights.
Good looking out! Most of my animations will only be about 3-5 frames. I will use tons of frame blending and motion blurs to save file size.
Loving the vibrance and style, it's got an almost anime feel to it. If you can make the app icon as eye-catching as the graphics, it'll stand a pretty good chance in a line up.
WHOA!!! OMG!! This is so awesome @VectologyGames can't wait to see the complete outcome... Graphics are top notch
