Greetings to the community! I am new to the forums and I hope I'm in the right thread lol. I am working on an ISO jump slide concept and from the design standpoint, I'm curious if these technical elements are possible before I begin. 1. Can the character change direction, also changing the area of the screen it is running on like in Floors? 2. Can it support obstacles the character can go through like in Triple Jump? And can I create objects that have various movements as they move down the pathway? 3. Can I trigger different events when going through obstacles like changing size or opening doors or getting more or less "points" like in HopHopHop? 4. Can I make obstacles slide in from the sides or from above/below to complete or obstruct the pathway like Don't Fall? 5. Can I make the character jump up or down to different platform paths or can I make it look that way a la Cube Jump? These are all elements that I liked in these various games and would like to implement, but would like to run them past the veteran builders on the forum to get some feedback on whether these were even technically possible to implement either individually or in concert. Thanks!
hmmm... we'll have to put the A-team on alert for this one... "...If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The A-Team." @jcalle @brakewind723 @Christoph @Andy @trudnai @wesam_badr @Phill Mason I'm not sure which one of them is BA though... "Bad Attitude"... not sure we have that here... maybe @trudnai
1. Yes 2. Yes 3. Yes 4. Yes 5. Yes I could be mistaken though I often am. Mr. T AKA Heathclose Update: Where is Melinda?
I think @Andy posted, recently published a video with new features, such as game Floor, hophophop, among other things. I have not found the original post, im sorry.
@heathclose Lol @Jamesallen232 I can also confirm that you can do all of that. Let me know if you ever encounter any issues or need a template as reference.
If @brakewind723 says it is so then it probably is. The new presets are coming soon. I know we keep saying that but it's true. BUT... they contain no "new" features. Everything in the video (posted in the customer only section) can already be done with BB2 as it is right now.
