Good idea but just be cautious. I tried it once with a member on here and just found last week he went and published the game on his own. Lesson learnt.
Yeah.. That could be an issue. What if we had encrypted files and we both had to enter a passcode to open Too much work? Haha
Yea sounds good, but what i mean is you have to have a lot of trust with the person your collaborating with. Thats the problem, they might decide to just finish it and publish on their own.
Oh man... Did you guys made a written agreement of some sort? If that game become popular you may can sue him?
No we didn't,. It wasn't the greatest game in the world so I'm not bothered with it. But as you say if it got featured it would of been a different story.
I think you can collaborate with your friends, But if each of them working on different side of category, BuildBox better to be handled by one developer, Other team members can create GDD, Design Artworks and Sounds, Not mention another developer for xcode/android studio deployments, if you would like to add analytic or other backend services.
