Sending one object backward will send the whole game play layer objects, is this normal thing?! How to send one object behind a background without sending all the objects? Regards,
little bug since bb1 1. unlock background 2. cmd/ctrl + right click and choose BG and send to back !!
The problem not in the background the problem in the objects as all of them coming under one layer, if you send one of them behind background all of them will go behind it as all the objects are tied up by the "Game play layer". So you can't make one object behind the background and another object in front of it, either all behind or in front. I don't know if this clear for everyone! Is it clear?!
I understand that everything behind background so I send background to back and everything ok umm for me ...
What are you trying to achieve? Maybe there's another solution to your issue than what you are attempting...
You want 2 different layer ordering for 2 or more instances from the same type of one object as i understand?
Backgrounds need to the either below and/or above all other objects. You can't interleave a background into game object layers.
Not possible I wanted to make sure that's why I added it to features request https://www.buildbox.com/forum/index.php?threads/adding-layers-outside-game-play-layer.3537/
Ah, thanks... yes we've had this on the potential list of things to do for quite a while. But it's fairly low priority as it's actually quite a complicated thing to accomplish at the moment.
