I've attached an animation that spawns attached to a moving object. The intent is that it looks like a smoke trail emitting from the object as it travels through the scene. Yeah! This is working well for objects that exist in the scene. For objects that are out of view and have a permanent spawn setting - not so well. When I attach my 'trail spawn object animation' to objects that are set with a permanent spawn frequency themselves - the trail does not emit from the object. The objects are set at a spawn rate of 10 - and the object with the animation that I am attaching have a higher spawn frequency of 0.3. Essentially, it seems like the objects are spawning and not taking the animation that I have connected to it. Any help would be appreciated!
Not sure if you can do that to be honest. Valid question though! Perhaps you can achive what you want with a sprite animation?
