Hello everyone! So the joystick template that the 3d wizard template creator makes you makes it so that character moves forward if the joystick is up, backwards when it's down but it rotates left and right instead of just moving left and right without changing rotate direction. How can I do the joystick left and right movement not to rotate and just go left and right?? Thanks!
You need to go into the node map and change the nodes inside your character. It’s likely got a rotate node instead of a move node. So it should be an easy fix.
Hey thanks for the reply I didn't make the joystick. It's implemented automatically by the buildbox wizard. If you click make new game > 3d > free roaming > joystick. That one! It doesn't have any rotation on the character. I think I must change some coordinates in the joysticks script. Feel free to make one and check the script and tell me what needs to be changed.
