The guy talked a lot how the making of Line & looks so easy to make, so i just downloaded and tried out but not as easy as i thought :)

questions:

1. the line has many screens , how can the character move to the next screen so smooth & i did not see any checkpoints are used  ???

2. when the guy testing the screen, he can use his mouse to drive the character ? what control he has used ?

now i have made a defeated animation just like in the video. I can make it shattered. But when the character hit an enemy, it just shattered there and did not fall down though velocity has been set to minus.

On Line, you can see the character will shatter and all pieces fallen down. any ideas to share ?

    To get a similar effect, the objects in your defeated animation firstly must be physics objects with a variable rate on the x axis, y axis and also the angular velocity. Objects must be set to collide, no destroy and enable spawner with a spawn rate of 1. That should do it :)

In answer to your first question, they made use of the avoidance game preset and two they added a joystick button to the game field.
