Is there a way to rotate the character only 360º or 180º when jumping but not more (independently of how far the jump goes)? And is there a way to make the character stitch to the surface after a jump so he doesn't keep rotating with the physics?

Lets say the square of Geometry Dash would keep rotating in the air and it lands on a corner, the physics would make it spin on the surface. But this is not how it works, the character ALWAYS lands flat.

I can't figure this out.

Yes. That is how I am doing it, but the problem is when I enable the Right Lean Force it just keeps rotating too much. Actually, in the game Creep Shock (https://youtu.be/EOJq3K0zF7w) they got it just right. In the air the square rotates and when landing it stops. I even tried to make a separate action when the character lands, but it isn't enough, even with Platform Friction turned up to 99999.

    And Rotation Drag to 100...

They are most likely just using a jump animation.

Actually, I don't think the are, but I'm not sure exactly how they are doing it.

Yeah, they are not using any animation. The square can land on all 4 sides.

The movement during the jump is done as a jump animation, at least that is how you would accomplish the same thing in BuildBox.  I don't think there is a way to make it turn with Physics.  Possibly you could stack the jump and rotate button (uncheck block touch on the top button) to achieve a similar effect, but I have not tried this.
