I'm finishing up a runner type game for Android. Just have some questions:
I want to add the option of removing ads for 1 dollar. I put a button on the main menu that says upgrade, put the cost at 1 but I think it's using coins that you get in game to make the purchase. The reason I think this is because the button can't be pushed if you have no coins, but if I collect coins and push it, the button disappears.
Does the high score and coins save when you exit the game? When I use the simulator, exiting the game erases the high score and amount of coins collected. Will this change when it's built for a device?
I added the ability to collect coins in game. But, what kind of useful "powerups" can I use for a runner game? If any at all...and how would I go about making it possible for players to purchase and use them? I'm not quite getting how to use the shop features. I'm thinking for a runner game I should just take the coins out period cuz usually in a runner game you can't buy powerups, just buy skins for your character but that isn't possible with Buildbox.
I'm sure there's other questions I have but that's it for now.

Hello Nick! I just have 1 answer for #3. Try exploring Buildbox! :D I'm working on my runner game too!! And I made a Shop to buy Power-ups! :P and use them anywhere and anytime in the game! It's just simple.. drag and drop a button for the power-up and for the Image to recognize that Power-up! :D I think #3 is solved for your problem and I heard that next update, Buildbox will have 2 or more characters I think.. :) (I'm not sure with this)
1. If you want to charge money and not coins, the price field is irrelevant. You need to have in app purchase box selected and then set that up in iTunes Connect or Google Play and link in the identifier.
2. Yes, it will save on device but not in preview.
3. To charge for the power ups/actions you'd need to do what I said above with In App Purchases. More details on powers up can be found in the manual at buildbox.com/guides
