I want the character to hit the portal and then be transported to a different spot on the screen. When I drop the transform onto the screen, I see the option for choosing what asset to effect but not one of them is the character.

I believe the transform option works with objects only, that being said have you tried making a moving platform that carries your character from point A -- B? Give a platform object your desired linear velocity depending on the direction you want. Add the transform option at a point in the scene, select the asset it affects to your platform and reverse its linear velocity, do the same at the other end of the platform to create a moving platform that moves back and forth and get your character to climb it. yes you can link your character to an invisible object and use the transform to the object
- Ok, so I added an object (tried both as a platform and as decoration) to the scene. 1 - Connected the character to the object 2 - added a transform to the scene - and set the affected object to the object that is connected to the character 3 - In the X "Position modifier" box, I added 300 (wanting to just "teleport" the character over 300px) Not having any luck on moving the character.

The game I am working on putting together is an avoidance type game. So no moving platforms to move the character around like a platformer. So any other way of possibly creating a portal to allow the user to pop into a portal and pop out of another spot?
