Ponyom Games is on a roll this month, Boxers! They’ve just released another very 😎 3D game called Curling Disc that’s definitely worth checking out. It was made using Buildbox 3, and we’re super pumped to feature it as our game of the week!
Curling Disc is an action arcade game with the simple but incredibly addictive concept of disc throwing. The game’s developer, Sonmez Sogut, built the entire app in our BB3 software by customizing the slingshot node. Awesome, right?!

All of our spotlight picks are new games that have a fun and interesting gameplay concept or have done well on the charts. Today’s pick has a mix of both. Curling Disc … Toss, Throw, Fly!
In Curling Disc, players get to test their disc throwing skills by participating in the ultimate tossing challenge. The rules of the game are simple. You must clear the stage and score high by throwing your disc and smashing all of the objects in sight. Just aim, tap, and swipe to fling your disc across the platform destroying different colored shapes, boxes, and ice cubes. There’s also explosive filled boxes that you can hit to blast away neighboring shapes into pieces.
There are over a hundred exciting levels to clear. Stages become harder as you progress with objects placed on platforms that are rotating and elevated. Plus, it’s all in 3D!
So, if you enjoy 3D games and love a good challenge, then Curling Disc is for you. Let’s get ready to test your tossing skills!

For those unfamiliar with Ponyom Games, they’re a Turkey-based indie games studio led by developer, Sonmez Sogut. They aim to create fun, simple, addictive mobile games in both 2D and 3D. And they’ve been killing it in the 3D department, lately. They currently have three 3D games all built using Buildbox 3: Tobogganing, Pod Race 3D, and Curling Disc.
These games are all excellent examples of some of the type of games that you can create using our software. So, check them out.
