Hello everybody! I'm new to Buildbox, so I might have many questions to come. However, this one is the one I could not find an answer to in previous threads, so maybe someone can help me out: How to make a platform, on which character can jump from below jumping through it and then landing on top? At the moment if you simply make an object to a platform, and try to jump on it from below, the character just hits it with the head This type of platform is classical in countless platformer games so I believe there must be an easy way to do that in BB.
Hello You should look for a arrow pointing up in the collision shape of your plateform and active it You can even change the direction Best to u
I don't see an arrow on any of my collision shapes. Is that a BB2 feature only at this point? @DanFarfan
soooo... has there been any word on that update? because I am running into this problem over a year later...
Yea I’m using the latest buildbox and nothing like comes up when I press the colliders button, my buildbox looks different to the one in that video. I’ve only downloaded it off the site 2 weeks ago so I’m guessing it’s different?
You need to watch the whole video, it starts with Buildbox 2 and then he shows how it's done in Buildbox 3. Grate video Hanomax, didn't know if there was a tutorial on that.
thank you so much, I obviously didn’t watch it right through, I stopped when I saw the other version of bb. Thanks guys !
