I have read all the isometric related postings but still stuck with an issue. I created a long cube, set the game direction to -28 but having following challenges: - The cubes don't align with each other - The ball does not attempt to jump I have linked a bbdoc file which is just basic. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated . https://www.dropbox.com/s/buxsly82z4opm2h/test.bbdoc?dl=0 Thanks
I was able to align the cubes. One was cube angle and also game settings. For unknown reasons, the jump isn't working
You have the cubes set as decorations, so the character doesn't have anything to jump from like a platform.
If im not mistaken, In Diamond Hunters the character is only moving left to right not jumping. Which is why decoration will not work the type of game that you are creating.
Ah i see what you mean but it was platform I first did but the character didn't still jump and its movement was out of place. Not sure what the collision setup should be? As seen, its moving sideways
Hi I fixed the tile issue to line up but noticed this in during the game, its like one tile is in front of the other and i tried all options but no luck @mugen_id can you be more clear. Thanks
I think your problem is solved I've changed all the settings there and it runs smoothly and for that I think we need to discuss this further pm me
I was playing with this and found that the next scene will always be on top of the previous, so you need to make your graphics blend, or have a gap like they do in ball jump. so you don't have any over lapping platforms.
Oh well since I am not getting anywhere with this, @TreySmith am I correct to say with Buildbox v2, it now becomes easy to make simple games like Zig Zag using the Zig Zag preset and JUST simply changing the graphics without having to bother asking more settings questions?
Hello @sysads, is this what you are looking for? https://www.dropbox.com/s/rbp13y63h3f6ozu/iso bro.bbdoc?dl=0 Sorry about choppy graphics, drew them up in flash in like a minute.
Even better. Now i see the trick you used for cubes joined between scenes Just one more request. I notice when you jump, the platform moves up and down. Can I control that with the camera so it does not move up and down? Thanks
