Hi everyone. When my character dies he instantly disappears. How can I make him go upwards then fall down when he dies? I'm using BB 2.1 Thanks
Thank you very much @clin407 & @Taimoor Javaid for your ideas. The game over delay and fall attribute did not work. It use to work fine in bb1. I'm not sure why I can't get it to work in bb2.1. My character just instantly disappears. When he dies i want him to visually fall off screen. Any ideas @Andy @Christoph ?
Is the character being killed by an object set to "destroy all" instead of "destroy character"? Try setting the object to the latter... For some reason "destroy all" nullifies character death settings...
Thanks @heathclose it was actually set to "destroy character." I went ahead and tried destroy all but neither setting worked.
Huh... And do you have anything in the defeat animation? Are the frames set to play instantly in animation editor?
Try this settings 1- Make game over from 1 to 2 in delay depend in your animation 2- Drop the death animation into defeated 3- Follow the picture bellow inside defeated animation change position linear velocity and make it spawn once every 100 second - It also depend in orientation and game settings like gravity and speed so play a little with the settings in the image. (the settings bellow for a platformer)
Yes I have images in the defeat animation now. It plays quickly and ends. I don't see any setting for play instantly in the animation editor.
@Deliverbo remove the animation and redrop it as objects and not as image then you will see the settings
